Hillary Clinton is making her rounds on the lecture circuit, and to nobody’s surprise, she’s making a pretty penny doing it, as her current going rate is $200,000 per speech.
To put this into different terms, this means a two-hour speech would earn her more than she made last year as Secretary of State, which was $186,000.
Hillary joins her husband Bill Clinton‘s range as far as speech prices are concerned, as the 42nd President of the United States has commanded that sort of fee since he left office.
It is widely speculated that Hillary Clinton will run for President in 2016.
Clinton has signed on with the Harry Walker Agency, the agency that has represented her husband since 2000.
Bill Clinton’s move to the agency was a lucrative one to say the least, as he made $75.6 million from 2001 to 2010 for speaking engagements.
In 2010 alone, Bill Clinton made $10.7 million.
