Mark Lucas Thompson, 20, was indicted on counts of animal cruelty and petty larceny, but will not stand trial after a judge ruled he was mentally ill.
Instead of jail, Thompson will spend six and a half years at the William R Sharpe Jr. Hospital in Weston.
We are trying to figure out which part of his act was illegal, as having sex with animals seems to be the norm in West Virgina. It is probably because he did not have the goat’s consent.
