The NBA has announced the 2012-2013 NBA All-Defensive first and second teams and they are highlighted by the NBA MVP Lebron James and the NBA defensive player of the year Marc Gasol. This year some notable names such as Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Shane Battier and Dwyane Wade did not make the cut. Lebron James and Tony Allen lead all players in total votes.
