The 2013 Mcdonald’s All American game was hyped a battle between uncommitted Huntington Prep star Andrew Wiggins and Duke-commit Jabari Parker from Chicago Simeon, but it will be remembered for the MVP performance of California’s Mr. Basketball and recent Arizona-commit Aaron Gordon.
San Jose’s Gordon finished with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 crowd-pleasing dunks to lead the West to a 110-99 victory in front of 15,818 at Chicago’s United Center, the home of the Bulls.
Matched against one another for most of the night, Andrew Wiggins scored 19 for the East and Jabari Parker finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals for the West.
