After nearly a decade of being an assistant coach in the NBA, former Los Angeles Laker and Orlando Magic guard Brian Shaw is finally getting a opportunity as a head coach in the NBA. Shaw who most recently was a assistant coach for Frank Vogel with the Indiana Pacers will now be taking over the roll of head coach with the Denver Nuggets.
Shaw has never held a head coaching position before but has widely been acknowledged as one of the brightest young minds in the NBA over the been three years and he has learned from the best coaching with the Los Angeles Lakers for 7 years with legendary head coach Phil Jackson.
The Nuggets haven’t announced the signing of Shaw but have scheduled a press conference for later today.
