For those of you who think that Aaron Hernandez is the only bad boy out there in the NFL, you’re probably right. However, that’s not to say he is the only guy in the league to be getting himself into some off-the-field incidents.

But just how ratchet have players been getting since the season ended? Well, 29 players have been arrested since the Super Bowl in February. Yes, twenty nine. This comes according to Elias from ESPN.

Now that’s quite the statistic. 29 players in just four months (with Aaron Hernandez being the 29th)? Now that’s absurd. I think it’s safe to say that this is something of an epidemic in the NFL. Even the NBA isn’t this bad when it comes to controlling their players’ conduct.

Commissioner Roger Goodell must implement some kind of system where these guys will start behaving. Maybe by offering bonuses if they don’t get locked up for two consecutive weeks. Something needs to be done.
