Imagine if 18-year-old LeBron James played in college. Well, we might just get an idea of what that would’ve been like when Kansas super freshman Andrew Wiggins plays his first college game on October 29, the same day the NBA season tips off. Coincidence? I think not.

The Toronto-native has been receiving all kinds of hype throughout high school and finally, in two weeks, we’ll get to see what it’s all about. But if there’s anyone doubting his superstar potential, I think his first scrimmage game at KU says enough. The kid’s going to be a star.

Naturally, some of the biggest sponsors are dying at the chance to sign the 18-year-old sensation. According to Bleacher Report, Adidas is already formulating a monster contract that is reported to be around $180 million.

But don’t just stop the presses there. Nike has also been reported to be in the mix of things and could very well offer the freshman a record-breaking contract. He’ll have to play out his one semester in college beforehand to prove it. Let’s see if he can handle the pressure.
