When we were 13, we counted our first kiss or beating The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time among our utmost accomplishments.
All those hours of hard work have been put to shame by teenage science wiz, Jamie Edwards, of Preston, England.
The BBC reports that Edwards has become the youngest person to ever carry out atomic fusion.
Edwards began building a nuclear reactor a few years ago after spending all of his Christmas money on a Geiger counter.
He then presented his plan to a teacher and was granted a budget of $3,400.
The end result was what is known as a Farnsworth Fusor.
