As the most popular rookie of the upcoming NFL season and one of Drake’s new friends, Johnny Manziel has been riding high for quite some time. Sure, he was the 22nd overall pick in the draft, when most thought he’d land a higher slot, but overall Johnny Football is winning, with a highly successful career at Texas A&M and a Heisman under his belt.
Unfortunately, the road to greatness is never without controversy, and Manziel may be getting a taste of adversity in the form of a recently filed lawsuit.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is being sued by plaintiff Samantha Schacher for $25 million over sexual harassment charges. She claims she is “scared to death” over Manziel’s incessant harassment which includes several naked photos of himself and explicit text messages. She claims he’s been sending the inappropriate messages since February 13th, 2013.
The official court document is quite descriptive. In addition to the sexual harassment accusations being described in detail (for instance, him sending pics of his penis wrapped in a hot dog bun), she also claims Manziel admitted to accepting lavish gifts from Texas A&M, circumventing NCAA rules, & that he called her on Halloween drunk and admitted he cheated on his college exams.
While this is considered a legitimate lawsuit, Schacher currently does not have a lawyer representing her.
