Originally thought to be an April Fools’ Prank, confirmation came over the weekend that Jordan Brand will indeed release its Air Jordan 6 collaboration with hip-hop artist Drake. Billed as the “October’s Very Own” or “OVO” edition after Drake’s own private label, the AJ6 follows the Air Jordan 10 and 12 samples Drake gave out during a Toronto Raptors game some months back. In black nubuck with gold tone and accents, the special edition features the OVO’s Owl logo etched near the heel panel. Comes with translucent outsole and matching laces in gold, the Drake x Air Jordan 6 “OVO” will be available, fittingly, this coming October. Stay tuned for more updates and release information.
