A 30-year-old Atlanta pimp was sentenced to life in prison Monday after being convicted of the trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, pimping, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
He reportedly pimped and sexually abused a 14-year-old girl, even having sex with her himself. He pimped her to customers and took half the money, though he was later quoted saying he deserved all the money. The teen managed to text her mother during her time with the pimp, and law enforcement did the rest.
It marks the first case the District Attorney’s human trafficking unit has prosecuted since its inclusion through a 2011 grant from the Department of Justice.
