After a long buildup, the “Hare”-themed releases that Jordan Brand has launched the past few weeks — including a Jordan 1 Mid and Jordan Eclipse — finally culminates in the reissuing of the original Air Jordan 7 “Hare” from 1992. The shoe was first seen in a Jordan Brand TV commercial from the same year, with the ad celebrating the superstar tandem of Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. The two global icons would go on to forge a friendship that spanned 23 years, six championships and countless threats from the intergalactic cartoon world. The Air Jordan 7 Retro “Hare” will be available through Nike.com starting May 16 at 10 am EDT.
