Wild story coming out of Orlando about a ex-D-League and NBA prospect arrested for attempted murder. Here are the details.
A man who survived a drive-by shooting in Parramore that killed a community activist and mother, was arrested, along with another man, for a shooting Friday that deputies called an act of revenge, authorities said.
Friday’s shooting happened at the Bala Sands apartment complex.
Authorities said that shooting could be tied to the April 16 drive-by shooting that killed Gino Nicholas and Tanya Skeen.
According to an incident report, Eric Griffin and Daquan Lundy waited at the Bala Sands complex for Treavor Glover to arrive, and then shot him in the forehead.
Glover survived.
Authorities said Griffin fired four rounds at close range, with one round striking Glover’s forehead.
The report said, “Lundy fired an unknown amount of rounds at Mr. Glover as he was running,” and that “their intent was to kill him as retaliation for the shooting.”
Authorities said Griffin, Lundy and Glover had a confrontation just days before the shooting.
Griffin made the D-League all-star team in 2014 while playing with the Texas Legends. He averaged 19 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks over 49 games.
So, all that has been accomplished here is that two people are dead, two more are in jail and another is very lucky to be alive after being shot in the head.
The reality nothing was solved. Stop the violence.
