Drake and Rihanna went from keeping their love the worst kept secret in the music industry, wouldn’t be the first time Drake took a play out of Jay Z’s playbook, to flaunting their love on social media like Joe Budden and his random IG model GF of the week.
At some point during the couple’s date night the two decided that it was the perfect opportunity to get matching tattoos. Both Rihanna and Drake got shark tattoos and while the meaning is unknown, we will guess that it has something to do with the two being ‘savages’ previously.
Complex was able to catch up with Rihanna’s long-time tattoo artist, Bang Bang, and ask his thoughts on the new ink.
Bang Bang told Complex via email,
“I can only say it’s personal, I’ve seen many people online guessing what the tattoo means, but it’s not my place to say. I will say I’ve tattooed Rihanna many times and last night was my favorite.”
We are either in for the next great musical love story or a horrible break-up… Either way we are intrigued.
