Yesterday Nike introduced the Nike Kobe 8 System and we wanted to bring you a closer look at the silhouette. Seen her in the Black/Sulfur colorway that is set to launch on December 20, the Kobe 8 System really starts to shine when you look at the details. The Engineered Mesh provides a huge canvas and Nike take a Black Mamba like inspiration to the color blocking. Mimicking the heat seeking sight of snakes, Nike used a thermal mapping style print over the upper. Other details include icons over the medial forefoot which represent aspects of Kobe’s game such as his vision, focus, speed, and accuracy. Weighing in at only 9.6 ounces, look for the Kobe 8 System to hit NIKEiD on December 4, with a retail release on December 20.
