Hot new rapper Bobby Shmurda could see his career short lived after being busted for a gun possession.
According to TMZ, Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, was arrested on June 3 in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn after cops say him brandishing a firearm at an apartment complex.
Cops say he tried to hide the gun in a couch when they went to investigate the incident.
He was arrested and later charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon. If found guilty he could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
Bobby Shmurda rose to fame with his hit single “Hot Ni**a” and is also famous for the Shmoney dance.
His father is Jamaican and his mother is Trinidadian.
