A Chinese woman has an extremely rare skill, but it may be outdated in this age of computers. This does not take away how impressive it is, however, as she can write with both hands in two languages simultaneously.
Chinese translator Chen Siyuan possesses this incredible skill, and displays her remarkable ability in the video below.
The 24-year-old can vary the language she’s writing in, as well as the direction, as she can write vertically with one hand while writing horizontally with the other.
Chen, whose name appropriately means “think further,” discovered her amazing skill by accident, while trying to save time on her extensive amounts of English homework by writing in English with one hand, while writing in Chinese with the other.
“When I was in high school, I unconsciously wrote with both hands while trying to finish my homework in a hurry,” she said to People’s Daily Online.
“My classmates were curious and tried to imitate me, but none of them succeeded.”
Chen uses her talent now to write poetry.
