Abe Koroma is hands down one of the best defensive tackles to ever play football for Penn State University. If you don’t know Abe transferred from Penn State after Joe Paterno handed him a season ending suspension in 2009.
But Why? Story is Penn State University Police responded to a report of loud music at the apartment Koroma shared with teammates Maurice Evans, AJ Wallace, and Andrew Quarless. A search revealed a small amount of marijuana. Evans and Koroma were each charged and both were subsequently suspended from the team.
Abe chose to transfer to Western Illinois where he would not have to sit out a season and is now chasing his dreams of playing in the NFL. Its crazy how “weed” could play such a influential part in a person’s life. What makes it even worse is the drug is on its way to being legal all over the country. I think that the NCAA needs to re-evaluate how they handle situations like this. Either way whatever team that gets this guy is getting a STEAL! Everything happens for a reason and we can’t way to see Whats next for this guy! #Salute
