Have you been missing your favorite sketch and stand up comedian the past decade?
According to a recent Funny Or Die announcement, comedian Dave Chappelle is making his comeback to the stage as co-headliner of the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour presented by FOD, scheduled for this summer.
This will be the first time Chappelle reenters the spotlight since walking away from “Chappelle’s Show” in 2005, virtually falling off the radar. The Oddball tour will consist of a multitude of performers on two different stages, including: Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, and Kristen Schaal. Musical/comedy act Flight Of The Concords will be co-headlining along side Chappelle.
The festival will be promoted by Live Nation, who claims it will be the largest comedy festival they have ever covered.
Tickets go on sale June 21. For more information check out the tour’s official site.
As a fan of both stand up comedy and Dave Chappelle, this sounds like an unbelievable festival definitely worth getting tickets to. I’m sorry Avicii, Kaskade, and Electric Dingleberry Nation won’t be there, but it should be an awesome festival nonetheless!
