Dwyane Wade teamed up with Gatorade over All-Star weekend to give a group of special high school basketball players down in New Orleans something that they’ll remember forever.
Riverdale High School (Jefferson, Louisiana) made the playoffs for the first time in more than 20 years, and to reward them for their hard work, they were surprised with a brand new locker room not only great for high school standards, but fit for a pro team. I think their reactions tell the story.
It’s always great to see kids actually be grateful for something, and in this instance, we can clearly see the jubilation.
The face lift occured when the Rebels went back to the court after halftime, and the Gatorade team came in and flipped the room in just minutes. Definitely an impressive transformation. Major shout out to D-Wade for this one!
