That comes from HTC purchasing 51% of his coveted Beats By Dre brand, of course. Jay-Z and Diddy also touch down in the top three, using their business savvy to pull them to the top of the list yet again. I’d also like to bring attention to Mac Miller, who pulled in a whopping $6.5 million. A rather incredible feat for an independent artist. Apparently Forbes thinks Pitbull is a hip-hop artist, too.
