According to DigiTimes, Google is putting the final touches on a $99 Nexus tablet which is supposed to come out sometime this quarter. Features include:
ARM-architecture single-core processor 8950 developed by China-based WonderMedia Technologies, and a HUVA TN panel made by Taiwan-based HannStar Display. Production will be handled by Taiwan-based Quanta Computer.
Google is no doubt hoping to take some steam out of Apple’s iPad Mini which is slated to be announced next week, and will likely cost a less attractive $200-$300.
