On Tuesday, Rihanna went to Harvard University to accept her Humanitarian of the Year award. She was rewarded for her extensive philanthropic work, which includes the founding of an oncology and breast cancer treatment center. She also founded the Clara and Lionel Foundation Scholarship Program, which gives help to Caribbean and South American students attending universities in the US; named after her grandmother and grandfather, the nonprofit organization began in 2012.
