Two days after scoring 37 points in his debut with the Rockets, James Harden added 45 in Houston’s win over the Atlanta Hawks.
How impressive is that? With 82 points, Harden is the first player since Michael Jordan to score at least 80 points in the first two games of the season.

Jordan started the 1986-87 season with 91 points in the first two games.
In fact, Harden is just the third player in NBA history to score at least 80, joining Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain, who did it three times.
