Love Supreme

In association with Dream Cream Ice Cream, JENESIS Magazine presents “The Love Supreme.”

The Love Supreme will provide a fun event for adults and businesses to socialize, network, and gather for a great relaxing Sunday Funday party and a fundraising initiative opportunity for entrepreneurs, businesses, and non-profits.

“The Love Supreme” will support local small businesses and nonprofits by providing them the opportunity to “sponsor” a flavor through Dream Cream Ice Cream, with a portion of proceeds from that sale of ice cream going to them.

Ice cream flavors that are sponsored will be available at a specific “The Love Supreme” party and for a limited time will continue to be sponsored and for sale at the Dream Cream Ice Cream retail location (539 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222).

The entertainment during each of “The Love Supreme” events will be provided by either DJ Bamboo, DJ Nugget, or DJ Outtareach. The first Love Supreme will be held at Eclipse Lounge 3705 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 at 2PM to 7PM (subject to change). $5/21+ cover to get in and for a short amount of time, Dream Cream Ice Cream will be giving complimentary ice cream! Clique Vodka will be on deck also so try their special Clique Cocktails.

Sponsored by: Clique Vodka, College Life, Kennedy Communications, Vanity Group, farESH Brand, Ariebella Couture, Penny Candy, The Prez Show, and Street Heart.
The first to take advantage of this opportunity is The Groove Aesthetic and their chosen flavor is “Cherry Pie.” Below is information on them and don’t forget you can support them at the Dream Cream Ice Cream location at 539 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

About The Groove Aesthetic

The Groove Aesthetic is a collective of talented artists and musicians of various disciplines and genres founded by classically trained lyric soprano and jazz vocalist Anqwenique Wingfield. The purpose of this collective is to create performances that are multifaceted, thought-provoking, and soulful through the collaboration of classical music, jazz, poetry, and dance. This artist collective represents an opportunity for creative minds to showcase their versatility and challenge the senses of the audience.

On Friday, July 19, 2013, the collective presents its second performance entitled, “The Groove Aesthetic: Digital Media MUSIC.” Featured vocalist, Anqwenique will perform operatic arias, American art songs, jazz, and funk in collaboration with DJ duo TRACKSPLOITATION and video artist Julie Mallis. The show will take place at The Alloy Studios as part of East Liberty LIVE! a summer series presented by Kelly Strayhorn Theater. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the cost of admission is $10.
