It was a tough year for Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team failed to make the playoffs, fired coach Scott Brooks, and KD spent most of the season on the bench with an injury. However, you shouldn’t feel too bad for Durant after checking out his $3.45 million penthouse in Miami, which he just sold.
The penthouse has 3,793 square feet that make up three bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and a maid quarters, Miami Luxury Homes reports. Durant’s condo even came equipped with a movie theater with surround sound—perfect for catching up on game film. The only issue with the place is that it overlooks the Heat’s American Airlines arena, where Durant lost the 2012 Finals against a Lebron James-led Miami squad. That might be the reason Durant just sold the place.
Durant is only the latest athlete to abandon their real estate in Miami. James sold his palatial mansion earlier this year after leaving the Heat for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the offseason.
