Now to the actual story, Derrick Turner (pictured above) was arrested in Los Angeles by police for running one of the most lucrative drug rings on Skid Row.
Police in Los Angeles arrested an alleged drug kingpin whose operation received $600,000 in one-dollar bills while selling to an area of the city well-known for its homeless population.
Derrick Turner, 48, was taken into custody in the Cerritos neighborhood on Wednesday, and charged with three drug-related felonies.
Turner was one of 16 people arrested during an operation against groups believed to sell drugs in the downtown area where many homeless people struggle with addiction.
Raids uncovered $1.8 million including the large number of dollar bills, 13 kilograms of cocaine, 22 pounds of methamphetamine and 20 pounds of heroin. – NYDailyNews
