Could this be the beginning of something good? Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Carolina Panthers (45-21) in large part to the arm of Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez. Sanchez passed for 332 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Panthers last night. Sanchez favorite target was Eagles rookie wide receiver Jordan Matthews who caught touchdown passes.
Mark Sanchez wasn’t the only Eagles on fire last night. Eagles running back Darren Sproles pitched in for two touchdowns and the Eagles defense sacked Cam Newton nine times including three and a half sacks by Connor Barwin.
The Eagles next opponent happens to be the high powered offense of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Mark Sanchez and the Eagles have a chance to move a step closer to the NFC East title on Sunday so we will see if the Eagles offense comes to play.
