The long-awaited sequel to the cult classic comedy Super Troopers finally has a trailer and release date. The film — set to arrive appropriately on April 20, 2018 — features a few callbacks to the original movie with a surprising cherry on top. Filming for Super Trooper 2 wrapped last month after successfully reaching its goal of $4.6 million USD from a crowdfunding campaign.
Director of the first film, Jay Chandrasekhar, returns alongside Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske as members of the Vermont State Police Department. Check out the trailer above and share your thoughts in the comments below.
