Natina Reed, a member of the hit R&B group Blaque, has reportedly passed away.
According to reports Saturday, Reed was killed in an accident in Atlanta on Friday night.
It is unclear what led to the accident, which some are reporting as a hit and run, but numerous industry figures have left messages on Twitter and other social media sites confirming her death.
“Multiple sources reporting Natina Reed from the 90’s group, Blaque, died last night in ATL,” Atlanta radio station V-103 reported.
No matter what the cause of death was, Reed was part of a group that produced hits like “808,” “As If,” “I’m Good,” and “Bring It All To Me.” The group was also featured on the soundtrack for the hit movie “Bring It On” and starred in the movie as well. Reed was also a protege’ of late TLC member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and appeared in the 2003 film “Honey.”
