He is back. After having surgery on his knee on February 27th to remove the damaged part of his torn right meniscus, Derrick Rose is expected to play tonight as his Bulls face the Orlando Magic.
In his 46 games during this 2014-15 NBA season, Rose is averaging 18 points and 5 assist a night and if Rose can continue to at least give his team those numbers, the Bulls could end up a dark horse in the NBA playoffs.
According to SB Nation, Rose confirmed the plan for him to return, saying he’s been “busting his ass” to get healthy before the regular season ends. He was optimistic that the time off will make him fresher for the postseason.
The Chicago Bulls are currently the third seed in the Eastern conference. Stay tuned to Official College Life for all your sports news.
