Paying tribute to his relationship with top NCAA Football prospect Johnny Manziel, Drake releases his new “Draft Day” freestyle. Drake has been teasing this song for a while now on his Twitter feed and now with the draft activities being over he’s decided to let the song go (on April Fool’s Day no less).
Rapping over a sample of Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing),” Drake gives a shout out to Manziel before launching into a timely update on his current standings in the rap game. Drake leaves no stone unturned, woo-ing Jennifer Lawrencem, and even throwing a quick, friendly shot to Chance The Rapper as well.
