Jay-Z has been taking his sports management business very seriously, but Jigga should probably read the rule book if he wants to continue.
The NFL is investigating whether or not Jay violated recruitment rules when recently signing NY Jets draft pick Geno Smith. The Roc Nation Sports head honcho was pictured with Smith prior to the announcement of the signing, while league rules state that only NFLPA-certified agents can actively recruit clients.
It’s unclear what will happen to Smith if they find the two guilty of the violation.
