Rams running back Terrance Ganaway isn’t letting no off season stop him from being busy. In fact he recently revealed that he is working at Jimmy John’s. That’s right, a fast-food restaurant.

Apparently he has been working there since early February and has been a model employee. He spoke more about his duties to the St. Lousi Post-Dispatch,

“I’m on the line that makes the sandwiches. I bake bread, take the cashier spot”

“I had to sweep the other day. Clean the tables. I mean all types of stuff. Slice the meat. Wrap the meat.”
So how did Ganaway end up working at Jimmy John’s?

“I just jokingly tweeted that I needed a job in Waco. Was anyone hiring?”
This tweet soon turned into a conversation with a Jimmy John;s employee and that soon turned into a new job.

Ganaway gave more insight to his job and why he did it

“I just wanted to stay fit, stay out of trouble and really just try to save money and not spend a lot of money,” Ganaway said.

“I’m in the heat of the battle. Trying to make sandwiches fast is Jimmy John’s policy, so it’s kind of stressful”
As a rookie last season, Ganaway earned the NFL minimum of $390,000. He’s not sure what he’s making now, but it’s not six figures. He is now racking in $7.25 an hour which is the minimum wage.
