It seems as if key pieces of the Atlanta Falcons football team don’t know how to stay out of trouble as of late. Just last week, their star running back Michael Turner was arrested for a DUI charge after a win against the Denver Broncos. Now his teammate John Abraham, who has had a storied professional career, also found himself in handcuffs recently.
The Atlanta Police department was dealing with a suicidal woman who was threatening to jump off of a building, and Abraham allegedly refused to leave an area in which law enforcement officials taped off because of the crisis. He was ultimately arrested on two counts of obstruction.
Abraham, who is the NFL’s active career sacks leader, was released from jail early Tuesday morning on $7,000 bail.
