Originally released back in 1991, Nike Sportswear’s “Purple Punch” colorway of the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Huarache has never gotten the retro treatment — until now. Returning to shelves for the first time in 25 years, the kicks largely stay true to the look of the original, but swap out the OG nylon toe box in favor of breathable mesh while the ubiquitous Huarache logo decorates the tongue portion of the silhouette’s signature neoprene bootie.
Sure to please true sneakerheads and Huarache fans alike, the 2016 version of the “Purple Punch” runner is available now from NSW spots and nike.com for $110 USD.
