There may be no College Football rivalry as historic as Army vs Navy. In honor of their 2013 match up, Nike Football designed new uniforms for their 114th match up. The uniforms will highlight each teams rich history and key figures of their respective branch.
Army will be paying tribute to General Winfield Scott who served as the General in the U.S. military longer than any other General. The uniforms will be decked out in white and grey with the sleeves decorated with elements of the West Point crest. The helmet features a gold hue with a black stripe down the center.
Navy will be honoring Captain James Lawrence who took charge of one of the biggest naval battles during the War of 1812. The uniform will be decked out in blue and white. The helmet gets hit with a thick gold stripe representing the traditional gold braid.
This annual meeting between Army and Navy will take place on December 14th at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
