The movement for change and justice has swept our nation following the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. As athletes across the world have shown their support and understand for the change that is needed in our system, Notre Dame’s women basketball team was the latest to use their platform to speak out. The Notre Dame basketball game came out for pregame warmups Saturday wearing “I Can’t Breathe” shirts before their matchup against Michigan. Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick has since spoke out and acknowledged being proud of the ladies.
