Fashion powerhouse Tommy Hilfiger has been trying to sell his extravagant 18th and 19th floor penthouse in NYC’s Plaza Hotel for the last six years, with little interest from potential buyers, likely because of the equally extravagant price tag.
The already lofty $50 million he asked for in 2008 has shot up to $80 mill after the mogul spent $20 million on lavish renovations. Try to keep up.
Said renovations include decor intended to complement the style icon’s collection of works by Andy Warhol, as well as “luxurious finishes and materials” used in the home to “restore this property to its original glamour of a bygone era coupled with 21st century conveniences.”
