Rick Ross has issued a statement that he is cancelling the remaining dates of the MMG Tour.
Earlier it was reported that Rick Ross had cancelled tour stops in North Carolina following gang violence threats. Rozay had tweeted that he had not personally cancelled the show, but promoters were nervous about dealing with the increased security isssues. Now news has broken that the MMG Bawse is cancelling the rest of the tour, and it is not because of threats he received, rather it is due to “apparent lack of organization and communication on the part of the tour promoter.”
Ross issued a statement to his fans on AHH apologizing for missing the last leg of the tour and he plans to makes the dates up in the future: “I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities. I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I’m ready to get back in the studio to make good music.”
This follows a concert a couple weeks ago that had a sparse crowd at Florida A&M’s homecoming which prompted Ross to leave the event early.
