February 14th was a monumental day for sneaker lovers everywhere. Just over a month ago, Kanye West released his first collaboration with legendary sportswear brand adidas. Those who were lucky enough to reserve a pair on the adidas Confirmed App became the very first owners of the long awaited Yeezy Boost. To make the moment a truly unforgettable one, Kanye himself surprised the world by hand delivering them to his fans at the adidas flagship store in New York City. “I want people to feel like it’s okay to create and follow what their dreams are and not feel boxed in. I want people to feel like awesome is possible,” he says in the clip. Between the Yeezys, the debut of his first collection and new music coming soon, it seems as though we have much to look forward to from the rap icon this year.
