In previewing this upcoming Air Foamposite One “Gone Fishing,” Nike frames the uniquely themed shoe as an ode to the teams who made an early exit from this year’s NBA playoffs. The shoe’s Foamposite upper is remade in a fish scale pattern, complete with an iridescent finish mimicking the skin’s multi-colored sheen. The angling theme continues with a fish bones embroidered on the heel, as well as a graphic sign on the sockliner that reads “Gone Fishing.” The theme rounds out with a special fishing net bag haul in your catch. Expect the kicks to hit stores June 20th.
