How can ESPN be so disrespectful to one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. Today, ESPN released their 2014-15 NBA player rankings and the black mamba was listed at number 40. Thats right Lakers fans, 40th. Last season ESPN had Kobe ranked at 25, yet I’m not sure even Kobe saw himself dropping 15 more slots.
Kobe is entering his 19th NBA season and having missed almost the past year and half with injuries, Kobe is certainly out to prove he still has some gas left in the tank. With a new head coach in Byron Scott, the new look Lakers as a team will have a lot to prove and ESPN’s player ranking may only be fuel to Kobe’s fire.
