A 22-year-old stripper is fighting for her life after taking a 15-foot fall off of a balcony while giving a lap dance at approximately 12:40 AM on Wednesday morning.
The stripper has been identified as Lauren Block, and she remains in critical condition from the horrifying fall that saw her plummet two stories.
The woman suffered major head trauma after plunging from the balcony of Christie’s Cabaret in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to a police report, Pasquale Storino was the man who was receiving the lap dance during the incident.
Storino’s account to police noted that Block attempted a tricky move while giving the lap dance, which caused her to fall over the railing.
“He stated that she grabbed the rail, as he was facing away from the balcony, and she tried to complete some sort of dance jump/dance move, and accidentally went head first over the rail,” the reporting officer said, according to Fox 8 News.
Block was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she is in critical condition.
Block laid on the ground motionless for several minutes with her face covered in blood.
Police say two men immediately fled the scene after witnessing the girl fall, but police are not treating this as a criminal case despite the suspicious behavior.
Not much is known about Block, and all one can do is wish she makes a full recovery.
