Along with its “Championship Trophy” counterpart, Jordan Brand is set to launch the Air Jordan 8 Retro “Confetti,” inspired by Michael Jordan’s first three-peat back in 1993. While the white and gold colorway of the Championship Trophy edition gives the nod to the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, this all black pair represents the feeling of playing in a hostile environment as the visiting team. Even without the benefit of playing in their home court, MJ and the Bulls clinched their third title in Phoenix, a feat that’s celebrated with the confetti-like designs that complement the shoe’s dark base. And once again, the cross-straps have the triumphant message printed underneath: “WORLD CHAMPIONS” and “AGAIN AND AGAIN.” The Air Jordan 8 Retro “Confetti” drops June 25 through Nike’s SNKRS.
