Lexus just dropped a short teaser trailer unveiling a fully functional hoverboard that will be available for sale in the not-too-distant future.
According to the website, the board, which is named SLIDE and part of the “Actions in Motion” series, achieves its magnetic lift through liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors and permanent magnets.
Aside from that, there is not that much other information in terms of price or a release date.
Lexus did, however, release a branded hashtag, #LexusHover, and that’s just as good as concrete information.
I am pretty excited for the future of skate punks who are also tech nerds.
