Narcos has returned with another action packed season which premiered on September 2nd. This is a follow-up to the cult that rocked the TV history. The plot follows the life of notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar from his early days of selling pot to his rise to power as the kingpin of Medellin cartel in the 1970s and 80s.
The direction is superb and the cinematography is one to marvel at! Usually, all Netflix original series/movies are high on production design and value. The show stars Wagner Moura of Brazilian descent who plays Escobar while Boyd Holbrook plays the DEA agent who chased Escobar during the nationwide manhunt during his reign along with the Colombian Police Task Force (Search Bloc). The show lay down the accounts in chronological order leading up to his death in 1993 with a voice over from the latter.

Creators of the show have well kept the show in the native Spanish and thus have ensured the relevance of the heritage of the Colombian culture. The title track “Tuyo” has been making waves due to its catchy tune and could easily be hailed as a dance number.
The show has been rated Mature for drug use, alcohol, sex/nudity, language and strong violence.
