Thanksgiving marks the beginning of many things: holidays, carb-loading, awkward family interactions and breakups.
That’s right, ’tis the season for a breakup.
The Turkey Drop or as I like to call it, the T-Drop, is the number one time of year for breakups.
For those in college, it’s when you return home and realize your long-distance high school flame has been quelled by the endless prospects at school.
For those post-college, it’s the time to end things before you’re committed to three to four months of holidays and presents.
If you don’t break up at Thanksgiving, you’re pretty much committed to Christmas and New Years, and then you only have a short window before Valentines Day… so T-day is a lot like the dating D-day. It’s do or die, man.
If you’re on the fence about your significant other, best to pull the trigger now. And if you’re on the tail end of said breakup, fret not. You’ve got plenty of parties ahead with tons of single people and lots of alcohol. Plus, you don’t want to be with anyone who doesn’t think you’re the sh*t. Life’s too short for that.
