Ladies, if you catch your man looking at a hot girl walking down the street, don’t blame him — it’s is merely genetics working their magic.
New research shows that men are more attracted to women they have never seen before and they become less attractive the second time men see them.
Women experience the contrary, as they are more attracted to familiar faces.
This may be a result of the evolutionary process, hardwiring men to “spread their seed” in order to promote reproduction.
The research, conducted at the University of Stirling and the University of Glasgow, was published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behaviour and showed men and women pictures of dozens of different faces.
The more a face showed up, the more attractive women became to the men: scientific proof of the “he’s growing on me” phenomenon coming to life.
Men who took part in the study found women less attractive the more they saw them. Men first see overall beauty and then start nitpicking and finding imperfections.
Does this study prove anything, or are these still baseless claims using a small sample size?
