Say hello to Chol Marial. He’s only 14, but he already looks like he belongs in the NBA. That’s because Marial, who hails from Sudan and currently plays high school basketball in Orlando, Fla., is 7-foot-3. He’s one of the tallest middle school basketball players ever. Oh, and he’s not just tall. He also looks like he’s ridiculously talented for a guy his size. In the clip above, you can watch him run the floor, grab rebounds, finish strong at the rim, block shots, and, of course, dunk. As you’d expect, his game involves lots and lots and lots of dunks.
There’s no telling where this kid is going to end up. It’s always difficult to predict how a kid his size will blossom at the next level. But if nothing else, he’s going to be a player to watch for the next four years. He’s clearly a nightmare for his opponents now—and something tells us that’s going to continue to be the case for awhile. Remember his name.
